Your place. Your privacy.

Necessary storage keeps your draft and private purchase access working. Optional product metrics are off unless you allow them.

Browsing metrics contain event names and general page categories. Purchase records are used only to count each payment once. They exclude GPS coordinates, project contents, routes, names, messages and contact details. Purchase events come from verified payments.

Optional metrics collection is currently disabled for this installation.

Current choice: Off. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control take precedence.

Geographic Data & Attribution

Elevation

Terrain geometry uses Mapzen / Tilezen Terrarium tiles hosted on AWS. United States 3DEP and global GMTED2010 and SRTM terrain data are courtesy of the U.S. Geological Survey. The terrain tile collection combines multiple regional providers; applicable attribution and license obligations vary by place. Elevation is sampled, scaled, triangulated and optionally vertically exaggerated, with decorative markers and routes added. These modifications are ours, not an endorsement by the source agencies.

Map and place search

Map imagery uses OpenStreetMap raster tiles; © OpenStreetMap contributors. Place search currently uses an OpenStreetMap Nominatim-compatible service. Map imagery is for selection and is not embedded in the manufacturing STL. OpenStreetMap data is licensed under ODbL. Public tile and search servers have usage limits and no commercial availability guarantee.

Other regional terrain contributors

The collection includes ArcticDEM imagery funded through NSF awards 1043681, 1559691 and 1542736; Geoscience Australia (2017); Austria’s open-data DGM; Canada’s Open Government Licence data; Copernicus EU-DEM; NOAA ETOPO1; INEGI Continental Relief (2016); New Zealand Crown/LINZ data (2011); Kartverket; and Environment Agency data (2015). Exact source terms and attribution must be reviewed for the locations offered commercially.

Commercial release review

The documented USGS public-domain datasets support commercial reuse, subject to source notices and disclaimers. This does not establish clearance for every geographic region in the composite tile dataset. Regional provenance and license review remains a release blocker. No claim of universal worldwide resale permission is made.
